Shielded cable and industrial control cable assembly
Shielded control cables (1.5–16mm², braided or foil shield) used in CNC machinery, industrial robots, and servo drive wiring require 3-layer end preparation before connector assembly. The EW-05A's dedicated 3-layer program handles the specific strip length combination — outer jacket long, shield fold-back medium, inner insulation short — required for EMC-rated circular connector termination in a single automated cycle.
Defence and aerospace wire harness processing
MIL-SPEC shielded cables used in avionics and defence electronics typically require outer jacket strip lengths of 100–250mm for backshell and braid fold-back dimensions specified in MIL-C-38999 and ARINC 600 connector standards.
